a corpse, animated by an undeparted soul or demon, that periodically leaves the grave and disturbs the living, until it is exhumed and impaled or burned.
Many people see demons as evil, but, if they were, we wouldn't stand a chance. Our clothes decay as they brush up against them, our bodies wrinkle as demons lick and kiss them. They are all around us, and the world would be a much worse place if they were all malevolent.
